OVERVIEW
Most of the people who come to us for arthritis have been dealing with it longer than they’d like to admit. They gave up the morning walks with the dog. They stopped kneeling in the garden because getting back up took too long. Some of them heard from a friend, or even a doctor, that sore joints come with age and you just learn to live with them. We don’t see it that way. Arthritis can’t be cured, but the pain and stiffness can usually come down a lot, and people get back to things they thought they’d lost. We treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and the wear and tear that shows up in knees, hips, hands, and shoulders.
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

SCHEDULE
REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT
Mornings are rough for a lot of people with arthritis, so tell us if a later appointment would help. We’ll find a time that fits around work and everything else going on.
DIAGNOSE
EXAM & IMAGING
First, tell us where it hurts. Is it your knee, your hip, or the base of your thumb? We’ll move and test each sore joint and look for swelling, and we may order an X-ray or blood work if the pattern seems unusual.
TREATMENTS
CUSTOM TREATMENT PROGRAM
Stronger muscles put less stress on a worn joint, so a lot of the work starts there. Some people also get an injection or a brace. Small changes help too, like the way you get up from a low chair.

Office was very welcoming from the moment you walked into the office, Marissa and Kelsey were there to greet me. They know all of their patients and treat them like family. Dr. Dault was AMAZING. SHE listened and really searched to find the answers to my pain. Eric was very thorough when doing my ultrasound to diagnose my issue. Their recommendations helped me and in the end my pain decreased! Thank you to the entire team!

I was in a pretty dark place before starting at the Chandler location. My low back pain was completely debilitating and affecting the quality of my life for many years. I saw Phil once a week for 6 weeks and feel stronger and more confident than I have in many, many years. Phil explained the results of my MRI in great detail and answered my questions (as trivial as they might have been) with respect and understanding... I have been to many physical therapists before and the results I got here were the best. I highly recommend the Chandler location and will go back again if I ever need to!

Where do I start with the praise for this Team of miracle workers... I had suffered from chronic lower back pain for the last 8 years due to 32 years of golf and upper back pain due to 13 years of sitting at a desk. I utilized a chiropractor for the past 7 years but the pain ALWAYS came back and I NEVER got better. One visit with Dr. Josh and two X-rays showed the problem was stemming from my foot and a collapsing arch—which my previous chiropractor NEVER took the time to explore and diagnose.

What Are You Experiencing?
Pain is difficult to articulate, and you don’t need to have the “right” words. Just tell us how you have been feeling it. Use the brief form to tell us in your own words like sharp, dull, or won’t stop. We will then contact you so that we can talk a little bit about what might be happening and how we may be able to help.
LOW HIGH
SEVERE PAIN
If the pain is intolerable, don’t wait. Call 911 or go straight to the hospital. Safety is foremost. Then, after addressing that, we’ll be able to assist you in the next steps toward comfort.
MODERATE PAIN / DISCOMFORT
This kind of pain is not going to keep you from doing things, but it makes daily life difficult. Maybe it hits in bursts, maybe it is always there. Describe it as best you can. That’s all we need in order to start to understand what is happening.
MINOR PAINS & ACHES
Even small aches matter. That morning stiffness in your lower back, muscle aches in your legs after a day, or that pesky spot you’ve been ignoring. Those are things we want to talk about. Tell us what you’ve been feeling, and we’ll do our best to get ahead of it.

Answering Your Questions
Why are my joints so stiff when I first get up?
Joints tend to stiffen when they sit still all night. With osteoarthritis, the stiffness usually fades in under half an hour once you start moving. Tell us if yours lasts an hour or longer, because that can point to a different kind of arthritis.
Is it okay to keep walking if my knee hurts?
Most of the time it is. A little soreness during a walk is usually fine. If the knee swells afterward or hurts more the next day, cut back and let us know.
What can I do about arthritis in my hands?
You can do more than you might expect. We teach simple hand exercises and sometimes fit people with a splint to wear at night. Thicker grips on pens and kitchen tools can make a real difference too.
Do I need an X-ray before my first appointment?
No. Plenty of people come in without one. If we think an X-ray would tell us something useful, we’ll set it up after the exam.
Is a knee or hip replacement my only real option?
For most people, it isn’t. A lot of our patients manage their arthritis for years with strength work, therapy, and the occasional injection. If a joint gets to the point where surgery makes sense, we’ll tell you straight and help you weigh it.
"Our goal is to help you solve some of your most painful life experiences."
