A graduate from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine, Division of Physical Therapy, Bob has spent the majority of his career in the area of orthopedic and sports medicine. He has worked with athletes from the levels of Little League to the professionals especially the NBA. Bob spent three years as a medical officer in the United States Air Force until resigning his commission as a Captain. During that time he was stationed at the largest hospital in the Department of Defense for the Air Force and worked with active duty personnel from around the globe.
Bob achieved his certification as an athletic trainer 1980 and volunteered many hours as the ATC for the local high schools as well as being instrumental in attaining full time jobs for ATC’s in the Peoria and Deer Valley school districts. Bob is also one of our clinic’s Vestibular Disorders Specialists.
Marissa graduated in 1995 and worked as a Certified Recreation Therapist specializing in neurological disorders at Barrows Neurological Institute. Her desire to learn more about helping people with their mobility caused her to pursue a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2004. Marissa is also trained in the following areas: kinesiotape, cupping, electrical stimulation to increase stability and promote normalized movement, as well as decrease pain and localized swelling. Emphasizes on functional strengthening to assist patient’s optimal health to return to daily functional activities, work and hobbies. Megan is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients and helping them return to the activities that matter most to them. She values patient education and believes in supporting clients through every stage of the recovery process. Megan has experience treating complex conditions and utilizes advanced techniques such as custom splinting and dry needling to help her clients achieve their highest level of function and quality of life.
Stacy graduated from McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas–getting his Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. He has also been a Certified Personal Trainer through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy since 2000. Stacy was the Organizing Chair for the 5th International Conference on Evidence Based Aquatic Therapy (ICEBAT US) in Las Vegas, NV 2018. Stacy has taken over 500 hours of continuing education in aquatic specialization. He has received certifications in Halliwick® Aquatic Therapy/Water Specific Therapy® (HAT/WST), The Bad Ragaz Ring Method® (BRRM), and Clinical Ai Chi® (CAC) through the International Aquatic Therapy Faculty (IATF). He became one of the first Aquaticists in America, and one the first Geriatric Aquaticist (GAq) in the world in 2013 through Aquatic Therapy University. D.J. graduated top of his class from the University of New Mexico with his DPT and has been practicing since 2017. He has been practicing in orthopedics since the start of his career, but also has other areas of experience including working in home health and acute care. He also has experience teaching anatomy for undergraduates as an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University. He spent the last 2+ years working at Luke AFB where he was responsible for the care of fighter pilots with the U.S. Air Force. Prior to that, D.J. was a multi-site manager and clinic director for 6+ years while still practicing full time. He is able and willing to treat just about any diagnosis that walks through the door, but loves to treat anything to do with the spine and is certified for dry needling and concussion therapy.
Prior to PT school, D.J. graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2008 with his B.S. He was a former NCAA 1st Team All American and national champion gymnast, and is also a former bodybuilder. This gives him a unique sports background that is useful when working with athletes of all ages and sports.
D.J. was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and currently lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife, son, and dog. Outside of the clinic, he loves to hang with his family, but also enjoys any outdoor activities, sports, as well as things like video and board games.

Kristen is certified through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor and women’s health conditions. She is experienced in treating a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including pelvic pain, incontinence, postpartum recovery, and other common pelvic floor dysfunctions.
