Robert Oakeson PT

Co-Director of Physical Therapy

A graduate from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine, Division of Physical Therapy, Bob has spent the majority of his career in the area of orthopedic and sports medicine. He has worked with athletes from the levels of Little League to the professionals especially the NBA. Bob spent three years as a medical officer in the United States Air Force until resigning his commission as a Captain. During that time he was stationed at the largest hospital in the Department of Defense for the Air Force and worked with active duty personnel from around the globe.

Bob achieved his certification as an athletic trainer 1980 and volunteered many hours as the ATC for the local high schools as well as being instrumental in attaining full time jobs for ATC’s in the Peoria and Deer Valley school districts. Bob is also one of our clinic’s Vestibular Disorders Specialists. Bob and his wife enjoy hiking, tennis, golf and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Ian Hover PT, OCT, MTC

Peoria Director of Physical Therapy

Ian became a physical therapist in 2003. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. After spending the first year and a half of his Career in Atlanta, GA, he became a traveling physical therapist spending time in various states working for clinics on a contract basis. Ian honed his hands-on treatment and obtained his manual therapy certification through the University of St. Augustine in 2005.

In 2010, after successfully passing a rigorous written examination, Ian became a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. Passing this test demonstrates specialized knowledge, and advanced clinical proficiency in orthopedics. Ian specializes in spine treatment, dry needling, and sport rehabilitation. In his spare time, Ian enjoys the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his family.
