Week 10 Pregnancy

Growth Is Happening Quickly

This week, many of baby's major organs are continuing to develop, and growth is happening quickly.

At the same time, your body is increasing circulation and adjusting to changing demands. If you've noticed dizziness, headaches, or moments where your energy disappears unexpectedly, you're not imagining it.

Pregnancy can feel unpredictable. One moment you feel okay. The next, completely drained. That doesn't mean anything is wrong.

Baby at Week 10

This week, baby is about the size of a strawberry. Many major organs have formed and will continue maturing throughout pregnancy. Bones are beginning to develop, and tiny fingers and toes are becoming more distinct.

Baby's movements are becoming more coordinated, although they are still too small to be felt. Important growth continues every day as the foundations for future development become stronger.

Why You Feel So Different Right Now

Your body is increasing blood volume and circulation to help support pregnancy. These changes are important, but they can sometimes contribute to dizziness, lightheadedness, headaches, or sudden drops in energy.

Hormonal shifts continue to affect digestion, energy levels, and overall comfort. While some women begin noticing small improvements in symptoms around this time, others continue to experience fatigue, nausea, and food aversions.

Pregnancy does not always feel predictable. Fluctuations in symptoms are common and do not necessarily mean anything has changed with your pregnancy.

Common During Week 10

Fatigue
Dizziness or lightheadedness
Headaches
Nausea
Food aversions
Bloating
Emotional sensitivity
Changes in appetite

Small Things That May Help

When standing up, take it slow. Rising more gradually may help if you've been feeling dizzy or lightheaded.

Staying hydrated, eating regularly, and changing positions slowly can sometimes help support circulation and reduce symptoms throughout the day.

Support During Pregnancy

Pregnancy-focused physical therapy is not only for pain. Many women benefit from support with posture, breathing mechanics, movement strategies, pelvic floor awareness, and overall comfort as pregnancy progresses.

Strength Can Look Like Slowing Down

A reminder today: strength is not always loud. Sometimes strength looks like slowing down and honoring what your body needs.

Resting when you're tired, asking for help when you need it, and adjusting expectations are all signs of wisdom—not weakness.

You are doing important work, even on the days when it feels less visible.
