So Much Growth Is Happening
This week, baby's brain is developing rapidly, and growth is happening fast.
Your body is adapting too. Hormones like relaxin are beginning to increase, helping your body prepare for change over time.
You may notice bloating, digestive changes, or simply feeling physically different than usual. Sometimes pregnancy feels exciting. Sometimes uncomfortable. Sometimes both in the same hour.
Baby at Week 7
This week, baby is about the size of a blueberry and continuing to grow at an incredible pace. The brain is developing rapidly, and early structures that will become the eyes, ears, and limbs are becoming more defined.
Important organs continue to develop, and baby's tiny heart is beating steadily. Although baby is still very small, major changes are taking place every day.
Why You Feel So Different Right Now
Your body is continuing to adapt to the demands of pregnancy. Hormones remain elevated, and relaxin is beginning to increase. This hormone helps prepare the body for the changes that will occur throughout pregnancy.
At the same time, hormonal changes can affect digestion, energy levels, and overall comfort. Bloating, constipation, food aversions, nausea, and fatigue are all common around this stage.
You may not always feel like yourself right now — and there is a reason for that. Your body is doing an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.

Small Things That May Help
A short walk—even five minutes—can sometimes help with energy, digestion, and stress. Gentle movement may support circulation and help ease some of the physical discomforts that can come with early pregnancy.
Remember that movement does not have to be intense to be beneficial. Small amounts of activity can still make a meaningful difference.
Support During Pregnancy
Pregnancy-focused physical therapy is not only for pain. Many women benefit from support with posture, breathing mechanics, movement strategies, pelvic floor awareness, and overall comfort as pregnancy progresses.

You're Already Doing Enough
You do not need to 'push through' everything.
Strength in pregnancy often looks like listening to your body instead of fighting it. Resting when you need rest, adjusting expectations when necessary, and giving yourself grace are all important parts of the process.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is respond to what your body needs today — not what you expected it to need. You're already doing enough.
