Welcome to the Second Trimester
You've officially entered the second trimester. That is worth pausing to recognize.
This week, baby is growing quickly and beginning to make tiny facial expressions. At the same time, many women start noticing subtle shifts in energy and appetite.
For some, this trimester feels lighter. For others, symptoms linger.oth experiences are normal.
Baby at Week 14
This week, baby is about the size of a peach and continues growing rapidly. Tiny facial muscles are developing, allowing baby to begin making small facial expressions. The neck is becoming more defined, and the body is starting to catch up to the head in proportion.
Although there is still plenty of development ahead, many important foundations are already in place. Baby continues practicing movements and growing stronger every day.
Why You Feel So Different Right Now
For many women, the second trimester brings subtle improvements in energy levels and overall well-being. Hormonal changes may begin stabilizing compared to the first trimester, which can make daily activities feel a little easier.
At the same time, not everyone experiences an immediate change. Nausea, fatigue, food aversions, or other symptoms may still be present. Pregnancy does not follow a single timeline, and both experiences are completely normal.
What matters most is that your body continues adapting with incredible intention every day.
