You Are Not Alone
Pelvic floor issues can start after pregnancy, after pelvic or abdominal surgery, during menopause, or without a clear reason. Sometimes they build slowly, then suddenly you realize you’ve been adjusting your whole routine around them. Many women stay quiet and just manage it, pads in the bag, avoiding certain movements, pushing through heaviness that shows up late in the day. You don’t have to keep doing that. We begin by listening, then assess how breathing, posture, hips, and core affect pelvic support so your plan targets what’s really driving symptoms.

THE ROADMAP
A Clear Plan That Makes Sense
Simple care from day one, with progress you can feel.
01
Evaluate And Understand
WE LISTEN FIRST
Your first visit focuses on your symptoms, your goals, and what a normal day looks like for you. We assess pelvic floor function alongside breathing, posture, hips, and core, then explain what we find in plain language.
02
Get A Personalized Plan
FIT FOR YOU
Your plan targets coordination, strength, and control based on your triggers and routines. The goal is fewer surprises and more confidence during workdays, workouts, errands, and rest.
03
Restore Strength
RETURN TO NORMAL ROUTINES
Care builds week by week in steps that feel manageable. Many women notice early changes in comfort and control, then keep building toward lifting, exercise, and daily movement that feels steady again.

WE HANDLE THE PAPERWORK FOR YOU
YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to do an internal exam on day one?
No. Dr. Alanna can start with breathing, core control, hips, and movement testing first. If an internal exam could help, she’ll explain it, and you choose what happens next
I’ve been told to “just do Kegels.” Is that always the answer?
Not even close. Some bodies need less squeezing and more relaxing, and timing work first. Dr. Alanna checks what your muscles are actually doing before handing you exercises.
What if my biggest issue is pressure or that heavy, dragging feeling?
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to live around it. We look at how you handle pressure when you stand, lift, walk, and work out. Then we build support from the inside out, not just quick fixes.
Can pelvic floor PT help if sex hurts?
Yes. People wait a long time to bring this up, so you won’t shock anyone here. We start gently and keep it focused on comfort, control, and what feels safe for you.
What should I wear, and what should I bring to my Tucson appointment?
Wear something easy to move in, like leggings or shorts, and a comfy top. Bring a short list of what you’re dealing with and when it shows up, like running, sneezing, sitting too long, or after workouts.
