OVERVIEW

ABOUT SPINAL & DISC REHABILITATION

Spinal and disc rehab in Chandler is for people who are tired of back or neck pain making every little thing harder. Some feel a dull ache that builds after standing at the counter too long. Others talk about pain that shoots into the arm or leg and makes them avoid lifting or bending. A lot of people just feel locked up, stiff, like their spine does not want to move the way it should. These things change how you walk, how you sit, and even how you sleep. At the clinic, therapists look for why it keeps happening. Weak muscles that do not support the spine. Joints that are too stiff. Discs that flare up and irritate nerves. The plan depends on what shows up. It can be strengthening drills, mobility work, stretching, hands-on care, or a mix. Some people notice improvement fast. Others take weeks. That is fine. The truth is, steady progress is what matters.

Office was very welcoming from the moment you walked into the office, Marissa and Kelsey were there to greet me. They know all of their patients and treat them like family. Dr. Dault was AMAZING. SHE listened and really searched to find the answers to my pain. Eric was very thorough when doing my ultrasound to diagnose my issue. Their recommendations helped me and in the end my pain decreased! Thank you to the entire team!

I was in a pretty dark place before starting at the Chandler location. My low back pain was completely debilitating and affecting the quality of my life for many years. I saw Phil once a week for 6 weeks and feel stronger and more confident than I have in many, many years. Phil explained the results of my MRI in great detail and answered my questions (as trivial as they might have been) with respect and understanding... I have been to many physical therapists before and the results I got here were the best. I highly recommend the Chandler location and will go back again if I ever need to!

Where do I start with the praise for this Team of miracle workers... I had suffered from chronic lower back pain for the last 8 years due to 32 years of golf and upper back pain due to 13 years of sitting at a desk. I utilized a chiropractor for the past 7 years but the pain ALWAYS came back and I NEVER got better. One visit with Dr. Josh and two X-rays showed the problem was stemming from my foot and a collapsing arch—which my previous chiropractor NEVER took the time to explore and diagnose.

Answering Your Questions

What kinds of problems bring patients in?

Disc issues, sciatica, long-term stiffness, and pain that radiates into the arms or legs. Some come after years of back problems that never fully healed. Therapy gives them a chance to move again.

Does therapy still help if pain has lasted years?

Yes. Long-term pain often responds once strength builds and mobility improves. It can take time, but a lot of patients see that even small wins sleeping better, walking longer, add up.

Do I have to stop my normal activity?

Not always. Some movements may need to change, but most patients keep doing safe activities. At Chandler, therapists explain what is fine to continue and what should wait.

How do I know therapy is working?

It is not always about zero pain. Progress shows up as being able to move longer, sit with less strain, or bend without as much hesitation. Those small things are proof that it is working.

Is rehab safe for older adults?

Yes. Sessions are adapted for safety and comfort. Gentle mobility, light strength, and balance drills. At Chandler, older adults often notice that therapy helps them stay independent longer.

"Our goal is to help you solve some of your most painful life experiences."

MODERN MEDICINE
CEO

"When an athlete gets injured, a team of doctors and therapists evaluates them, orders imaging, and decides the best path forward. If surgery is needed, they go straight to surgery; if not, they get condition-specific physical therapy and targeted injections to speed healing. This is the same process pro athletes use to get back on the field quickly—and at Modern, you can access that same level of care for the same cost as any other physical therapy clinic."   - Josh Adams
