Feel More Supported and Prepared
During Pregnancy
Some of it you saw coming. Most of it you did not. Your hips ache through the night and there is not much you can do about it. A walk through the parking lot leaves your pelvis sore. You work out how to roll out of bed without it hurting and just add it to the routine. At Modern Medicine of Goodyear, AZ, we help you sort through what is going on and figure out what actually helps.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Should Not Run The Show
Most women get the same response when symptoms come up. That is pregnancy. Push through it. You knew what you were signing up for. We disagree with that. Your body is working hard right now, but hard does not make months of pain and leaking something you just accept. If this sounds like your last few weeks, it is worth a conversation.

Pain while walking
Your back or pelvis starts hurting when you walk, stand for any length of time, take the stairs, or try to settle in at night.

Fear of Tearing
You keep coming back to what pushing is going to feel like and what recovery actually looks like after.

Safe Workouts
You want to stay active, but cannot get a clear answer on what your body can still handle right now.

Urinary Leaking
You leak when you sneeze, laugh, cough, or do anything that takes effort.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Shouldn’t Take Over
Many women are told that back pain, pelvic pressure, or leaking are “normal.” We are here to tell you: Common does not mean Normal. Do any of these sound familiar?

Pain while walking
Lower back or pelvic pain that slows you down.

Fear of Tearing
Anxiety about birth injuries or recovery.

Safe Workouts
Unsure what exercises are safe for
baby.

Urinary Leaking
Whether it’s sneezing or laughing—leaking
shouldn’t hold you back.
Straight Answers and Care That Puts You First
We listen before we do anything else. We look at what your body is actually managing right now. Some women come in because walking has become a problem. Some want to go into labor feeling less unprepared. Some are trying to keep exercising without something going wrong. We figure out what matters most to you and work from there.
Support for Every Stage of Pregnancy

Prenatal Wellness
Pregnancy shifts how your body handles weight, pressure, and movement. Some women feel it in their back. Some in their hips or pelvis. Some get that worn-down heavy feeling that shows up midmorning and never really lifts. We help you stay active in ways that make sense for your body right now.

Birth Preparation
Labor takes more out of you than most people expect. We work on breathing, pushing, and positions that may help things go a little smoother. No promises on how it goes. But walking in with some preparation is different from walking in with none.

Postpartum Planning
Most of the planning goes toward the baby. The recovery side gets figured out on the fly, and those first weeks can be rough. We help you think through how to move with less strain and what to watch for if something does not feel right after birth.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far along do I need to be before coming in?
Any point in pregnancy works. There is no milestone you have to reach first. Earlier usually means fewer things to catch up on.
Is this different from seeing my OB?
Yes. Your OB is focused on you and the baby’s health. We focus on how your body is moving and getting through daily life. Both matter, and they work well alongside each other.
What if I am not sure my symptoms are serious enough?
If something keeps coming up, that is enough reason. You do not need a specific injury or diagnosis to get looked at.
Can my partner come with me?
Yes. Especially for birth prep visits, some people find it helpful to have someone there. Just mention it when you call.
What if my last pregnancy was complicated?
Let us know when you call. We will ask a few questions so the first visit is set up in a way that fits your history.
