Feel More Supported and Prepared
During Pregnancy
Pregnancy has a way of catching you off guard. Your pelvis starts aching on a walk you do every day. You spend half the night switching positions, and none of them work. Sitting down too long makes things worse. Standing too long makes things worse. At Modern Medicine of Mesa, AZ, we help you work through what is going on and figure out what actually helps.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Should Not Run The Show
Bring up symptoms, and most women hear the same things back. That is just part of it. It will get better. Hang in there. We think that falls short. Your body is carrying a lot right now, but that is not a good reason to write off months of pain and pressure as something you just live with. If any of this has been your week, it is worth coming in.

Pain while walking
Your back or pelvis hurts when you walk, stand too long, take the stairs, or try to find a comfortable position at night.

Fear of Tearing
You keep coming back to pushing and what the recovery side of delivery is actually going to look like.

Safe Workouts
You want to keep moving, but have not gotten a straight answer on what is still okay right now.

Urinary Leaking
You leak when you sneeze, laugh, cough, or do anything that takes any real effort.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Shouldn’t Take Over
Many women are told that back pain, pelvic pressure, or leaking are “normal.” We are here to tell you: Common does not mean Normal. Do any of these sound familiar?

Pain while walking
Lower back or pelvic pain that slows you down.

Fear of Tearing
Anxiety about birth injuries or recovery.

Safe Workouts
Unsure what exercises are safe for
baby.

Urinary Leaking
Whether it’s sneezing or laughing—leaking
shouldn’t hold you back.
Straight Answers and Care That Puts You First
We listen first. Then we look at what your body is actually dealing with right now, not a textbook version of pregnancy. Some women come in because getting through the day has become painful. Some want to feel less lost going into labor. Some are just trying to stay active without something flaring up every time. We find out what matters to you and start there.
Support for Every Stage of Pregnancy

Prenatal Wellness
Some women feel it in their back. Some in their hips or pelvis. Some get that heavy dragging feeling that sets in by midday and just stays. Pregnancy changes how your body handles weight and pressure and that shows up differently for everyone. We help you keep moving in ways that make sense for where you are right now.

Birth Preparation
Labor is hard in ways that catch most people off guard. We work on breathing, pushing, and positions that may help your body do what it needs to do. No guarantees. But having some preparation behind you going in is a lot different from having none.

Postpartum Planning
Recovery gets a lot less planning than the baby does, and those first weeks tend to surprise people. We help you think through how to move with less strain, what to watch for, and when to get checked if something does not feel right after birth.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far along should I be before coming in?
There is no requirement. First trimester, third trimester, somewhere in the middle. Coming in earlier just means less to catch up on later.
Is this the same as what my OB does?
No. Your OB is focused on your health and the baby’s. We focus on how your body is moving, loading, and getting through daily tasks. The two work well together.
What if I only have one or two symptoms?
That is fine. You do not need a long list of problems to come in. If something keeps showing up and is affecting your day, that is enough.
Can my partner come to appointments?
Yes. Some people like having someone there, especially for birth prep visits. Just let us know when you book.
What if things went wrong in a previous pregnancy? Tell us when you call. We will ask a few questions ahead of time so your first visit is set up in a way that actually fits your situation.
