Common Postpartum Problems You Should Not Ignore
Recovery is not just waiting around until your six-week checkup. Your body sends signals through all of it. Some of those signals tell you something is not settling back into place the way it should.

Diastasis Recti
That belly pooch or doming down the middle of your stomach that stays no matter how many crunches you try.

Painful Intimacy
Pain during sex after birth is common but it does not have to be how things stay. We look at what is actually causing it.

Leakage & Urgency
Leaking when you jump, laugh, or sprint to the bathroom is not just a postpartum fact of life. It is a signal worth listening to.

Common Postpartum Problems You Shouldn’t Ignore
Postpartum recovery isn’t just about waiting 6 weeks. It’s about addressing the signals your body is sending.

Diastasis Recti
That “mummy tummy” or doming in your midline that doesn’t seem to go away with regular crunches.

Painful Intimacy
Pain during intercourse is common postpartum but should not be your new normal. We address the root cause.

Leakage & Urgency
Whether it’s jumping, laughing, or running to the bathroom—leaking shouldn’t hold you back.
How We Help You Recover
We do not just hand you a printed list of exercises and send you off. We look at how you are breathing, how you are standing, and how you are lifting the baby thirty times a day. Recovery has to fit your actual life to stick.
Full Assessment
We check for diastasis, pelvic floor strength, and how your scar tissue is healing.
Customized Rehab
A plan that fills the gap between cleared for activity and actually ready to run, lift, or work out again.
Return to Sport
A safe build back to whatever you were doing before. Gym, running, yoga, whatever it was.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long after birth can I come in?
Most women start around six weeks, but earlier visits are fine in a lot of cases. If something does not feel right sooner than that, call us and we can figure out the right timing.
My OB said everything looks fine. Do I still need this?
Possibly. Your OB is checking that you are healing. How your body is moving, holding pressure, and handling daily life is a different thing and worth looking at separately.
What if I am years past my last pregnancy?
Still worth coming in. Postpartum issues do not expire. We see women one year, five years, even ten years out. It is not too late.
Do I have to do internal pelvic floor work?
No. Internal work is one tool and it is never required. We talk through options with you and nothing happens without you being on board.
Can I bring my baby to appointments?
Yes. A lot of moms do, especially early on. If you are planning to bring the baby, just mention it when you book so we can plan the visit accordingly.
