Phoenix’S PREMIER WOMEN’S HEALTH
Reclaim Your Comfort
& Confidence
Pelvic floor symptoms do not always feel dramatic. They just quietly edit what the day looks like. A workout gets swapped for something lower impact. A long drive needs extra stops built in. A sneeze becomes something to brace for. Modern Medicine in Oro Valley offers non-surgical pelvic health care that gets to what is actually driving the symptoms, with support that stays consistent from the first visit forward.

You’re Not Alone
Symptoms show up in a lot of different situations. After childbirth. After a procedure. During hormonal changes. Sometimes with no clear starting point at all. Most women build workarounds long before they ask for help. It is more common than most people realize. And more treatable. We start by listening to what the day actually looks like and what you want back. Then we look at how breathing, posture, hip mobility, and core function are connected to pelvic support. The plan gets built around what is actually driving symptoms, not just where they show up.

You Are Not Alone
These symptoms can show up after pregnancy, after pelvic or abdominal surgery, during menopause, or after years of stress on the core and hips. Sometimes there’s no “big” moment that explains it, and that can feel frustrating. Many women keep it to themselves and just deal, even when it affects sleep, workouts, intimacy, and long workdays. Here, you get real answers. We start with your story, then check how your breathing, posture, hips, and core work together, because pelvic floor problems rarely live in one spot.

THE ROADMAP
A Clear Path Forward
Simple care from the first visit, with progress you can feel.
01
Evaluate And Understand
WE LISTEN FIRST
The first visit is a conversation before it is an examination. We want to know what your day looks like, what sets symptoms off, and what you are trying to get back to. From there, we assess how the pelvic floor is working alongside the rest of the system and explain what we find clearly so nothing feels out of your hands.
02
Get A Personalized
PLAN FIT FOR YOU
Your plan targets the coordination, strength, and timing issues specific to your symptoms and your life. Built around your triggers and routines. The goal is fewer interruptions and more confidence through the activities and daily moments that symptoms have been quietly limiting.
03
Restore Strength
RETURN TO NORMAL ROUTINES
Progress builds week by week in a way that does not feel overwhelming. Most women notice real early changes and keep building toward the movement, activity, and daily confidence that symptoms had been slowly chipping away at.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I have had symptoms for years. Is it too late for therapy to help?
No. Long-standing symptoms often respond well once the actual drivers get properly identified. How long something has been present does not determine whether it can improve.
My symptoms get worse after activity. Does that tell you anything?
It tells us quite a bit. Post-activity symptoms often point to load management and pressure control issues rather than weakness alone. That changes how the plan gets built and what gets prioritized early on.
I had a C-section. Is pelvic floor therapy still relevant for me?
Yes. C-section recovery affects the abdominal wall, scar tissue, and core function in ways that directly impact pelvic floor support. Therapy addresses the full picture, not just the symptoms at the surface.
Do I have to have an internal exam?
No. External assessment and movement testing is where care starts. You stay in control of what you are comfortable with the whole time.
What if my symptoms do not feel severe enough to come in?
If symptoms are changing how you move, plan, or think about daily activities that is enough reason for an evaluation. Significant pain or severe leakage are not the bar for getting help.
