YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can therapy help if my symptoms only show up later in the day?
Yes, that’s really common. As you get tired, your support system can fade, so we look at what a “real day” does to your body and plan around that.
I only notice leakage during workouts. Do I need therapy?
You probably do, even if it only happens at the gym. Leaks with lifting or impact usually come down to timing and pressure control, and therapy helps you get that back.
How do I know if my symptoms are pelvic floor or something else?
It can be hard to tell, because hips, low back, core, and pelvic floor all work together. An evaluation helps sort it out so you’re not guessing or chasing the wrong fix.
Will I need an internal exam?
Not necessarily. You can start with external testing and movement work, and you stay in control the whole time.
How do I get ready for my first appointment?
Think about when symptoms hit and what tends to trigger them, even quick notes on your phone help. Bring postpartum or surgical info if you have it, and if you don’t, that’s okay too.
