Feel More Supported and Prepared
During Pregnancy
Pregnancy does not follow a schedule. Your hips start aching on a random Tuesday for no clear reason. You wake up at four in the morning and the position that worked last week is done. A full day of errands leaves you more worn out than it should. At Modern Medicine of Peoria, AZ, we help you figure out what is going on and what to do about it.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Should Not Run The Show
Bring up symptoms and most women hear the same things back. That is normal. That is just pregnancy. Get through it. We think that is the wrong answer. Your body is working harder than it ever has, but that is not a reason to grind through months of pain and leaking. If this has been your last few weeks, come in.

Pain while walking
Your back or pelvis hurts when you walk, stand for a bit, take the stairs, or just try to get settled at night.

Fear of Tearing
You keep coming back to pushing and what recovery is actually going to feel like after delivery.

Safe Workouts
You want to keep moving, but have not gotten a real answer on what is still okay right now.

Urinary Leaking
You leak when you sneeze, cough, laugh, or do anything that takes effort.

Pregnancy Changes Your Body. Pain Shouldn’t Take Over
Many women are told that back pain, pelvic pressure, or leaking are “normal.” We are here to tell you: Common does not mean Normal. Do any of these sound familiar?

Pain while walking
Lower back or pelvic pain that slows you down.

Fear of Tearing
Anxiety about birth injuries or recovery.

Safe Workouts
Unsure what exercises are safe for
baby.

Urinary Leaking
Whether it’s sneezing or laughing—leaking
shouldn’t hold you back.
Straight Answers and Care That Puts You First
We listen first. Then we look at what your body is actually handling right now. Some women come in because basic tasks have gotten painful. Some want to feel less unprepared going into labor. Some are just trying to stay active without making something worse. We find out what matters and start there.
Support for Every Stage of Pregnancy

Prenatal Wellness
It shows up differently for everyone. Some women feel it in their back. Some in their hips. Some just feel heavy and worn down by midmorning and it does not lift. Pregnancy shifts how your body handles weight, pressure, and movement, sometimes all at once. We help you keep moving in ways that make sense for where you actually are right now.

Birth Preparation
Labor asks more of your body than most people expect. We work on breathing, pushing, and positions that may help things go a little better. No guarantees. But going in with some preparation behind you is a lot different from going in with none.

Postpartum Planning
Most of the thought goes into getting ready for the baby. Recovery tends to get pieced together as it happens, and those first weeks can hit harder than expected. We help you think through how to move with less strain and what to watch for if something feels off after birth.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. WE HAVE ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a referral to come in?
Most people do not. If your plan requires one, our front desk will tell you what you need when you call.
What if I have already been seen somewhere else this pregnancy?
Not a problem. Bring whatever notes or records you have and we work from where things are right now. No starting over.
I have pelvic pain, but I am not sure it is worth mentioning. Should I still come in?
Yes. Pelvic pain during pregnancy is common, but it is not something you just have to sit with. If it is changing how you move or sleep, get it looked at.
What happens if my symptoms change between visits?
Call us. You do not have to wait for your next appointment if something shifts. We would rather know sooner.
What should I do before the first visit?
Wear something you can move around in. Think about the two or three things bothering you most, so we do not miss anything.
