Carpal tunnel problems usually start as an annoyance. A little tingling while you’re texting. Fingers going numb when you hold a book or chop vegetables. Then the numbness shows up more often. It starts interrupting sleep, chores, and daily routines.
Carpal tunnel injections calm the swelling inside the wrist tunnel. When that area settles, the median nerve has more space and the symptoms ease. Before offering an injection, we look at how your wrist moves, what sets off the tingling, and how long you’ve been dealing with this. You get a clear explanation before anything starts.

We check wrist motion, finger sensation, and the nerve’s reaction during gentle tests. Carpal tunnel doesn’t look the same in every person, so we look for your specific pattern.

The injection is quick. A small pinch, a bit of pressure, and it’s done. Afterward, we explain how the wrist may feel for the next day or two and what movements to limit while the nerve settles. Some people feel better almost immediately. Others notice slow, steady change.

I highly recommend Modern Physical Therapy in Sun Lakes. Dr. McKenna Brown was my Physical Therapist. She was excellent and when I left, so did the pain I arrived with. Both of her Techs, Laurence and Brayden were great. They all work together like a well oiled machine. It was easy to tell that everyone there, including Jake PT were all good at their jobs.
