Most patients start with an evaluation, then we decide if an injection fits. After the injection, we plan rehab around your response so you don’t flare the area back up. Timing depends on the body part and your symptoms.
DIAGNOSE
EXAM & IMAGING
We start with your history and a movement exam. We look at when symptoms show up, stairs, walking, reaching, sitting, or sleeping. If you have imaging, we review it, but we match it to what your body is doing.
TREATMENTS
CUSTOM TREATMENT PROGRAM
If an injection makes sense, we coordinate it as part of the plan and pair it with physical therapy. We work on range of motion, strength around the joint, and the way you load the area during daily tasks.
FOLLOW UP
WE CALL TO CHECK IN
We check how you feel over the next days and weeks, not just the first day. If relief is short or incomplete, we adjust the plan and talk through other options. If you improve, we focus on making it last.

What does a steroid injection do in plain terms?
It calms inflammation in a targeted spot. That usually means less pain and less swelling. It doesn’t fix the root cause by itself, but it can make rehab easier.
Where do these injections go?
It depends on the problem. Some go into a joint. Others go into a bursa or the tissue around a tendon. The exam helps us figure out the most likely target.
How fast will I notice results?
Some people notice a change within a few days. Others take closer to a week. The timeline varies based on the area and how irritated it is.
What’s the biggest mistake people make after they feel better?
